MM for Tux

Seriously thou. If any of the developers read this topic. Realistically what are the chances of MediaMonkey being ported to Linux? I, mean, should we even waste processing cycles even talking about it. What would it take to do it? What language is the source code written in? How can the user ...

Why would anyone spend their time porting MM to Apple? Apple users most likely have iPods and therefore iTunes (crap on both accounts). iPod does not like to be controlled by anything but iTunes. I have a 1st gen Nano that craps out completely and has to be connected to iTunes for a "brain ...

In iTunes create a playlist with your podcasts, then set up iTunes to only sync that playlist. Sync it. Quit iTunes. Now in MM, go into the options to tell MM to delete music not in your sync list BUT make sure to tell it to confirm deletions. MM will now prompt you to confirm which files to delete ...

you have to check your synch options. if you click a down arrow next to the iPod icon on the toolbar, make sure the check mark is next to Synchronize selected and not auto synch. auto synch depends on the selections made in the options dialog for your iPod

try the MediaMonkey 3.0 Beta 1 it has a builtin podcasting support with synchronization capabilities to the iPod. I have tried it with my Nano, and it seems to be working as advertized i.e. synching the number of times played back to MM.

I've had the same problem with my Nano. Apparently iPod OS doesn't read filenames longer than 31 chars. so That option is mandatory as well as the option to use iPod style folder structure. If you un-check any of these you'll have all kinds of problems with playback

MM3 B1 WOW!!!

Just got the MM3 B1 and after using it for 10 minutes went on to get a Lifetime License! I have been swearing by MM2.x for a long long time. I tried to stray from it but can't. It's just too good. Tried iTunes after purcasing my Nano, went back to MM. I don't have a giant collection but what i have ...
