Hello esteemed gurus.
I have set up MM4 to stream from my Win7/64 machine to another Win7 machine with MM4 as client. I can stream MP3 files just fine to MM4, but I can't stream WMAs. However, when I use Windows Media Player as client, the WMAs play just fine. What might the issue be?
Thanks!

Do local WMA's play in MediaMonkey on the client PC? If not: http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/inde ... icleid=134

Yes indeed, WMAs play locally just fine, on both server and client. And they stream to a WMP client just fine. But MM4 will have none of that. Any other theories?

Re: Can't stream WMA files to MM4, MP3s are fine
I'm not aware of any client side limitations surrounding WMA streaming and server side obviously works as WMP can receive the WMA files. I'd suggest sending a debug log to support: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=69
If you want to be thorough create a debug log on both client and server (make sure you identify which is which in the filename) and send them both to support.

WMV video files also do not stream, but can be played from a local drive or from a network share.
