Navigate to:
Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Local Settings\Application Data\MediaMonkey
or
Windows Vista: C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\Mediamonkey
and open Mediamonkey.ini.
Search for a heading in brackets [SimpleSearch] and delete the items below it.
Make sure MM is closed when making these changes.
EDIT: Also you can avoid adding entries into the search history by not hitting enter when you search.

I seem to get a history of my searches whether I hit enter or not, is there some setting in the ini which I can set to prevent this??

Not that I know of... my searches aren't saved unless I hit the enter button. You do mean entries using the drop down arrow on the search box, right? The search history in the nodes cannot be disabled as far as I know, but it should be cleared upon restarting MM.nynaevelan wrote:NH:nohitter151 wrote:

Hi:
Yes it is cleared when I restart MM, but I was hoping there was a way to clear it while in a session. There is a search script but I haven't given that a lot of testing, maybe I will try that to see if it will complete my searches without my tree getting bogged down with all the results. Thanks for your quick answer.
