Hi
I upgraded to the latest version to see if Autotag would start working again, but still nothing - when I click search I get this
Couldn't show results.
Error description: Request from 1EYXVSY9HM4XCVN8GK82 is throttled.
Any ideas?

Re: Autotag not working
Perhaps a firewall or security app is blocking MM. Do you use any IP blockers (Peerblock) or security software/firewalls (antivirus applications, etc.)?

Re: Autotag not working
I am using Advanced System Optimizer from systweak.com.
With real time protection turned on, I get the same "throttled" error. With it turned off, MM autotags as it should.

Re: Autotag not working
I get the same throttling error. I am not using anything that could do this (i.e. AV, firewall, optimizers, tweaks, etc). I am using MM Gold 3.2.0.1294 on Win 7 64-bit.
I believe that this error is being returned from Amazon and that long string of characters is the application key MM uses during the query. If I wait a minute or two, the request seems to always go through. The developers need to look into this issue. I will be submitting a support ticket for this.

Hello. I too am getting this throttling error. My version is 3.2.0.1294 The system is not seeing any updates available.
Do I have the most current version?
What ports need to be open for the Freedb service connection?
Thank you
Ki

Yes. If you retry the search it should come up. Amazon has a connection limit per IP address so sometimes you just have to wait.Ki Cao wrote:Hello. I too am getting this throttling error. My version is 3.2.0.1294 The system is not seeing any updates available.

Re: Autotag not working
I am getting this error as well. It appears to happen more during peak time, like evenings and weekends. It has only started happening to me for the last week or so. I do not use the auto tag feature very much and tonight it came up on my first search. I doubt it has to do with the end users ip. Could there be some throttling used on amazons side tied to how it identifies the media monkey app in general?
