Refreshing screen

Probably a simple answer to this. Evertime I refresh my screen or come back to my library it starts back at the beginning. How do I get it to refresh so that it appears at the album or song that is currently playing?

Adding to this, I like to play from my library in the album art with details view and tend not to use now playing. Is there a way to get have the library move to the current song that is playing (much like itunes) instead of having to use now playing to see where I am?

No. You can set a hotkey to bring the currently playing track into focus (tools > hotkeys), but it doesn't work in Album art views.

Hmmm. Thanks nohitter. That is disappointing. I guess some would that that is what now playing is for but I prefer a minimalist screen and don't like keeping the now playing option open. Guess I will have to live with it.

you can always just switch to the "Now playing" node, its essentially the same thing.

True, but without album art. A bit nitpicky. Guess you can't have it all.

Regarding my original question, is there a way for MM to remember the last album I played after refreshing or will it always start from the beginning? Once again, nitpicky, but curious.

You can use album art + details view in the Now playing node.

This has the same result though. It does not move to the currently played song when in album art views.

The hotkey already is fixed for MM 4.0. but the other issue -- you're right and I was able to reproduce it. I entered it into the bug tracker: http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=6272
