cannot delete album with no tracks

I have accidentally created an album that has no tracks, but "properties" is greyed out and am unable to delete this album. Any thoughts? Thanks, Mike

Is it in the Album node? Try selecting it there and hit the delete button.

Thanks for the reply, but I've tried that with no success. Also, I cannot find that "album" from the hard drive that grew the MM library. I thought I'd just go to the original source and take it out, but it's not there either. Thanks, Mike

I can see it in the artist and the album views, but there are no tracks shown. I'm thinking I'll just live with it, but I'm really curious as to why I can't delete it. I'm sure there's some really simple explanation, but right now I don't see it.

I'll give that a try. I just looked at the"unknown" album in a different manner and I think I've out part of the problem. I have quite a few tracks that do not show an album title. Possibly it moved them into a folder titled "unknown". Still don't understand why in the artist/album view it does not show anything. I'm going to fix those tracks that do not show an album title first before I go forward. Thanks for your help, I think your suggestion will work, but possibly I don't need to do that once I clean up the missing album titles and if the blank unknown album still is there, then I'll do the remove unused attributes. Up until a week ago, I used MP3 Maker for all my music, but ran into unfixable problems, so I've switched over to MM gold and so far it is superior. Thanks again, Mike

So the problem is the Unknown entry that's first on the list? That can't be removed if I'm not mistaken.

Yes, it's the first folder in the list and it appears that there is no way to delete it. Do you know why it can't be deleted? At least because of this issue, I was able to fix several other problems while searching through all the albums. Thanks, Mike

Because it's a MediaMonkey node used to show tracks without Album information, it can't be disabled like the All node.
