playlist # column is cheesing me off! [#7120]

In the playlist 'detail' view the # column doesn't remember its position or width after switching to other views.
I'm trying to utilise playlists more these days, but this behaviour annoys me alot. ALOT.

Any solutions?
Or just hearing someone else vent about it would help.
