Play Next default action not working? [#8785]

Howdy!

Bought MM Gold a couple of years ago but only got around to start using it now. Installed version 4.0.0.1459, running Windows 7 64-bit.

The OS Integration Default Action "Play Next" selection doesn't seem to be working. Double-clicking on a file still plays it immediately (wiping out the playlist), and if I right-click, "Play in MediaMonkey" is still highlighted, "Play next in MediaMonkey" is there right below but it's not the default.

Am I doing something wrong, or is it a bug?

Ideally, I would like the same choices as in the player:
When Playback is stopped, Play Next (and start playing)
When files are playing, Play Next

I can't offer you a solution, but I can confirm the same issue. If I set the default double-click action to "Play Next", it still does "Play Now" instead, wiping out the playlist from Now Playing.

I cannot reproduce. Actually this has been fixed as http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=8460 recently.

Which OS you are using? Win7/Vista/XP? Did you try to change something in the 'OS Integration' panel and click [OK]?

I can confirm double click on WinServer 2003 with Portable Install doesn't adhere to Play Next setting, instead it Play's Now and wipes Now Playing.

As I said in my original post, Win7 x64.

Yes, I clicked OK after making the change.

Next request is an Apply button -- tedious to have to go into options every time.

Are you sure that you set
Default action for files: [Play Next] ?

Yes, positive.

I am a C++ audio software developer myself, and routinely use VMs. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help reproduce it.

It's already set to be fixed in the next version.
