Sort albums [#8839]

I want to sort albums in art view with details, based on the album title or disc number.
But MM groups albums first, based on the number of songs on the albums, and then sorts per group.
Can I tell MM to not do that, but just sort on the criterion that I want?

If you click on the Album column it should sort alphabetically on Album.

Yes, that's what I want but not what happens. It first groups the albums by the number of songs on the albums.
Probably due to something I did, but I don't know how to undo it.... it's as if there is an invisible colums before the colums I see.

That is strange as I wouldn't know how to group on track count in MediaMonkey.

Try to sort on disc number. Then it happens here.

Sorting on Disc# sorts on Disc# > Album here. Album sorts on Album and Album > Disc # sorts on Album > Disc# in the Art with Details view here.

Disc no 86 has fewer songs, so comes before 1.

The problem lies with Grouping which I had disabled. With Grouping enabled I also see the Grouping per track count. Reported here: http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=8839

I'm not sure what grouping enabled means, and if I could turn it off?

Under Tools > Options > Media Tree you can disable it per Collection.
