So I just found out about MM and it is definitely better than other programs I've tried.
The only problem I've encountered so far begins with the fact that when I want to quickly get to an artist in my artist column of my media library, I usually just select an artist in that column and typed the first letter of the name of the artist. This works for most purposes. So I can jump to the first of the artists that start with an 'S' by simply hitting the 'S' button.
Unfortunately, while MM sorts artists by ignoring the term 'the' in the artist's title (e.g., "The Beatles" is just below "Beastie Boys"), typing the letter T' jumps me down to "The Beatles" and not to the first actual 'T' Artist.
It wouldn't be a big deal if MM lumped all "The..." artists in the T section, but they don't, so to get to any 'T' artist requires mouse scrolling past hundreds of artists that have scattered "The..." names.
Does anyone know a workaround for this? It doesn't happen in Winamp -- a 'T' hit goes right to the "Ta..." artist, not to "The Beatles"
