Touch Screen scrolling

Post by timgrimsey »

Perhaps I'm missing something (and if I am, I'd welcome anyone pointing it out), but is it possible to enable scrolling through tracks (Library and Now Playing) with a touch screen. Touching the tracks only selects them, and using the scrollbar with a touch screen can be difficult (using Surface Pro so small screen = small scroll bar).

MMW isn't really designed for touchscreens. However MediaMonkey for Metro (MM8) from the Windows App store is (but it isn't full featured like MMW).

based on your description looks like precision touch pad for Legacy application and two finger behavior do not either work or not set correctly.

I have tested on one ASUS transformer with Windows 8.1 and it worked as designed and presented on for example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0QOIWoTJYw&hd=1

As note it also work similar in Windows 7 after enabling and tweaking gestures on my friends Dell Laptop I currently hold in my hands much like described in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9cFjWABi1c&hd=1

@Peke, you seem to be referring to a touch pad, not touch screen.

Thanks folks. I am indeed referring to a touch screen rather than touch pad, and note that MM isn't really set up for touch screens. Which is a shame, but maybe a matter of time.

Thank you for your replies. Cheers.

You might want to look at MediaMonkey from the Windows app store, it is designed for touch screens.
