Hi everyone, I am moving from iTunes to MediaMonkey.
I have several thousand music tracks on iTunes and for many years I have used the iTunes "Sort Album" field to contain my prefered Sort Order.
When I add/rescan files from my Music folder, this field is not included, however I see that MediaMonkey has fields that I can rename (Custom1: to Custom5).
I have renamed Custom5 to Sort Album and have edited this field for my first few albums and it all looks fine.
Does anyone know of a simple way how I can import all of this iTunes field information into MediaMonkey please?
Many thanks to anyone who can help please, to do it all manually will take me many hours.

MediaMonkey doesn't support this field.
You can't map fields to the Custom fields, they remain Custom fields, just the name displayed in MediaMonkey changes.

Thanks Lowlander, just thought that there might be something clever that I could do with Exporting to an Office program and then importing the result into MediaMonkey... but obviously not.
So I will now set into making my own Sort Order field.
Thanks for your help.

I've heard of Artist sort fields (http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=2915), but not Album sort.

It's an iTunes field that allows users with a large database to order their albums into their desired order.
