MM not recognizing Iphone 4S

MM not recognizing Iphone 4S
I can't get MM to recognize my Iphone 4S. I downloaded the latest MM off the website yesterday and it initially recognized my phone, but since then it has not recognized my phone. I've uninstalled MM several times with Revo, and still no luck. Tried uninstalling Itunes and MM, and still did not solve the problem. I think that when I may have interrupted something when I accidentally closed MM as it was "communicating" with my phone. Any suggestions from the gurus out there? Thanks in advance!

Is iTunes installed (needs to be) and does it recognize the iPhone? Also by latest make sure you're using MediaMonkey 4.0.6.

Lowlander, just finished reinstalling Itunes. It (Itunes) has no problem recognizing the phone. Still no luck with MM (4.0.6.1501). I'm really hoping to get this fixed. I hate Itunes for playlist syncing!

Is it enabled under Tools > Option > Portable/Audio Devices?

It is. Also ensured that "scan as soon as the device is connected" is checked. Before in uninstalled MM, it was listed in the Devices/Plug-ins as "My Phone"--my phone's name. Now it's listed as "iPod" with a plug-in file of d_iPhone.dll. I looked at the configuration and couldn't find anything that helped to get MM to recognize the phone again.

Then you may want to create a debug log (step 4b) and send it to support: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... 12&t=67485

Re: MM not recognizing Iphone 4S
I have much the same issue and did the uninstall and updated to MM 4.15601 also. My phone synced once using the Beta program and I have used my Ipod and Walkman since, thinking a bug fix would come along. I have iTunes 10.1.6.7 installed, haven't changed to 10.7 yet. Also have not updated to IOS 6. Edit-updated to 10.71 and no change.
At times MM will find my phone and even try to sync. I get an error message that I don't have enough space-wrong lots of space. It doesn't try to remove songs not in the new sync so must not be reading my iPhone song list. When I tell it to go ahead even though there is not enough space it goes through the motion and then provides a long list of songs that didn't sync-nothing changes on my iPhone. Removing the auto sync MM brings up my phone and the directory-songs, playlists, etc.- but it won't go deeper to list any songs.
Is there a way to delete my iPhone from the sync list and start over as a new device? Any other suggestions?
I may try another trouble ticket, but the last one didn't offer a solution that worked.

The latest available version (it's an RC though) is 4.0.7.1510 (http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... 76#p350976)and I'd recommend using it. You should be able to delete devices under Tools > Options > Portable/Audio Devices.
If MediaMonkey fails to recognize the device you should make sure iTunes does recognize it without issue (making sure it isn't a hardware/driver/Windows/cable issue).

I know this response is old... but make sure the phone isn't locked. That's what I was doing wrong, and what led me here.
