Podcast description not transferring [#6220]

I use MM 4.1.0.1692 with my 4th gen iPod. In MM I have subscribed to a number of podcasts and have them download automatically. When I click on properties for a specific episode, the episode description shows up under comments. When I transfer the episode to my iPod, however, the description disappears. The only text that will show up is the name of the podcast, the date and the episode number. How can I get the podcast description to transfer over?

Can you make screenshot of MMW properties dialog showing what Description you want to transfer over to iPod.

I escalated and filed this into bug Stephen reported.

Only way would be to copy the description into the Lyrics field before syncing the tracks. (until the issue in bug tracker is addressed)

Good idea, but I wonder if I can even view lyrics in a 4th gen iPod. Never tried it before. Thanks

Classic model, 4th generation.

That's a pretty old one. Not sure if it supports showing lyrics (or podcast episode description for that matter).

I guess if it does show them you'd access it by pressing the center button a few times while something is playing.

It does support podcast description; I have no troubles if I transfer a podcast from iTunes. I can't use iTunes anymore with podcast, which is why I switched to MM.

Should be fixed in 1693 release that we plan to release soon.
