Hello All, Looking to figure out a way to Sync the BlackBerry Storm.
Before you attack the obvious solution (sync though WMDM.dll)
This does not allow for syncing to the Media Card (8 GB Secure Digital Card)
When you open Media Monkey Portable/Audio Devices you are presented with:
BlackBerry 9530 - Device Memory
We want BlackBerry 9530 - Media Card.
When you open Explorer (My Computer)
Under Other we have listed a BlackBerry 9530 Device.
Open that and you are presented with this tree
- Device memory
- Media Card

Re: BlackBerry 9530 Sync Issues
Have you tried detecting the card via the USB mass plugin: http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/inde ... ticleid=18

Re: BlackBerry 9530 Sync Issues
I figured out how to do this.
You need to go into your blackberry and open Options > Memory > Enable "Auto Enable Mass Storage Media When Connected".
This will connect the Media Card as a Drive Letter. At this point its Cake in MediaMonkey.
Hope this helps a newbee.

As another tip, configure MediaMonkey to sync the music files to the \Blackberry\music folder (you can create subfolders under this). Then, edit the M3U playlists with notepad or wordpad, it'll probably look something like this:
\Blackberry\Music\Artist Folder\Album Folder\track.mp3
you'll want to instead rename each line to:
.\Artist Folder\Album Folder\track.mp3
I'm not sure if there's a more elegant way to get mediamoney to do this. cause if you don't, the BB Storm's media player will load the playlist and say it couldn't find any media files.

If you have MS Office, see my thread:

You can import that macro which will let you open each exported playlist and modify it to the Storm's required formant.
I use it all the time (I'm not sure how to make that into a VBS script).
