MM sync with J3 - FLAC files not being transferred?

Post by jianjian94 »

Hi guys, I'm having another problem. This time it's with my new Cowon J3.

I've been trying to autosync my 2 playlists over to the J3 via MTP since that's the only way for my to get the playlists to work. However, on one of the playlists, only 1/3 of the files gets transferred over. The other playlist isn't transferred to the player at all.

I've noticed one thing in common with all the files which won't get onto the J3. They are all FLAC files.

Can someone tell me what is wrong ? Maybe the way I'm syncing is wrong? I do manage to get all the files onto the J3 in MSC mode, but my playlists on the J3 will be empty.

Probably FLAC is not listed as a supported file type for your device. You can change the types of files which are supported on the device in the device options under the "Options" tab, then "Auto conversion".

MM keeps telling me that I have to upgrade to MM Gold when I click Auto-Conversion

You can't access the Set Formats button on the Auto-Conversion tab?

Yes you must have MM Gold to access that part of the options.
