[1736] Sync Small Changes

Should small updates to songs cause a resync? What updates should cause a song to resync?

I'm having issues with lyric changes specifically syncing to my iphone 6 plus IOS 8.1.3.

Workflow:

1. Song A is currently on the phone.
2. Update lyrics in MM on Windows. This is done via internet lookup.
3. Sync phone (which includes Album for Song A)
4. Check lyrics for Song A on phone...they are not updated.
5. If I check the iphone node in MM, the songs do not have the lyrics updated.
6. If I update the lyrics from these nodes, they are updated in MM.
7. Sync the phone and the updates are STILL not transferred to the phone.
8. If I delete the song from the iphone node in MM or on the phone itself, and resync, the lyrics changes are made.

I believe album art is behaving the same way.

Tag changes should trigger re-sync. I don't know if MM can just update iOS database (would be best) or that a file needs to be re-synced (as the file was altered I'd expect this).

Are lyrics being saved to the files tags in MM?

Yes, the lyrics are getting updated in the tags and in the database both.

I'd expect that this should work. You can capture an edit and re-sync in a debug log (step 4b) and send it to support: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... ?f=12&t=69
