Hi guys, I'm a newbie over here. I decided to sign up because I am not able to synchronize properly my library songs. I am getting some flac albums so the idea is replacing the old lossy files. I have a 128gb microSD card and the issue comes when I delete the lossy files from the library and try a new sync. When it's done, both the lossy and the lossless files remains in my SD card. I've been looking around the device preferences so as to find any option to do that properly but can't find it
Any ideas to help?
Thank you so much in advance!

Did you enable the option to delete All Media Files in the Device Profile (Tools > Options > Portable Device Sync)? It is required to have non-Library files removed from a device.

Thanks a ton, Lowlander. I enabled that and the "Confirm deletion" check plus the option "All other media files" and seems to be working
Hi again! After two or three times making tries and with the above setup, I am not able to resync my files nor delete the ones are not in the library. (see image https://postimg.org/image/8bm09hqkn/)
Even I press sync button I can't syncronize that 1.5GB and I don't know why
P.S.: tried to reformat my card but it has less than a week though.
New user here as well. And experiencing the same problem. When attempting to sync an SSD Drive connected by USB with MediaMonkey 4.1.14.1813, receive an error message stating that "there was a problem synchronizing the following item(s):", with a list of several music items that were duplicates on the device and in the library. I removed the duplicates from the device and the library, but the error message continues to return. When I OK the error message, nothing takes place and no new media files will synchronize to the SSD Drive. Basically, MediaMonkey refuses to sync each time this message pops up no matter what the response is to the error message. I have insured that the "delete other files and playlists from the device with the option of all other media files" is checked, along with the "confirm deletion" option. I had no issues syncing this device until I removed the duplicate entries from my library. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
I downloaded the MediaMonkey DeBug and it generated a log and sent to MediaMonkey (wherever it goes). I included my email to contact if further information is needed. The other debug (4b) instructions are not working out very well. I have spent an afternoon attempting to figure our how to use this crap and it just isn't worth this much time and effort after purchasing a Gold License. The program should just work. I now have this DeBug View program and some SSD program and all of these loggers and crap. Again, it just needs to work.
Just download and run DBGView (it doesn't get installed) and download and install the debug version of MediaMonkey (just like the regular version). Then proceed with bug, save log and attach it to a support ticket.
Hi,
thank you for reporting and submitting the crash log!
The log shown that it was regression introduced in version 4.1.13 and appears only when the target filename includes % character.
I've fixed the issue as http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=13911
Sorry for the troubles with generating the debug log, the reason was that MM was crashing because of the error.
This will be fixed in the next build (4.1.15.1825) to be available here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... 00#p431509 (you can subscribe the topic to be notified once the build is available there)
