Tracks jump intermittently on my Samsung s3
During playback tracks randomly jump. Intermittent but irritating. Please fix cause I like MM as my media player
Re: Tracks jump intermittently on my Samsung s3
Are you sure you aren't pocket skipping (screen on in pocket) or that you have headphones/bluetooth skip buttons accidentally being used? If not you should send a debug log (from About screen) immediately after you experience this. I haven't seen this myself.

I am seeing similar on my Note 10.1. It occasionally (more often than not) happens when the screent times out. If i turn the screen back on the skipping stops. I have sent a log from the device but ...
Note that when the screen times out again it might take several minutes (5?) before it starts to skip occasionally. Then worse and worse.

Re: Tracks jump intermittently on my Samsung s3
I think the confusion here is about the definition of "skipping".
- Some people mean "Moving to next track".
- Others mean "Stuttering, hiccuping, or popping".
On my GS3 (so glad I got rid of it for the M8) I experienced alot of stuttering/popping when the screen was off, but only after i disabled LPA to use V4A. If i uninstalled V4A and turned LPA back on the stuttering disappeared and playback returned to normal.
Occasionally I would experience a situation where I hit the "Next" button and MMA skipped not one but two tracks. But that was fixed in a revision long ago.
If the OP is actually referring to a situation where MMA jumps to the next track without cause, thats a new one!
Maybe this brings a bit of clarity.

Re: Tracks jump intermittently on my Samsung s3
You are right about the confusion and I should start a new thread for my issue as it is skipping as if hitting the turntable while playing.
