[EDIT by Rusty -- topic split from http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... 21&t=85034 ]
Retest with 599: Great job! Artist, Title and Album are transferred correctly. Thank you!
I detected one minor issue but I'm not sure if this is device depended.
Steps to reproduce:
1.) Enter the car (car radio switches on) and start to play music via MMA.
2.) Leave the car and by this step the car's radio got switched off. MMA is still running in the background.
3.) Enter the car 2 minutes later and the car radio switches back on.
4.) Start to play music via MMA and switch to the next track
Observed:
Metadata of the next track won't be displayed. The metadata is still frozen with the values of the first song.
Only if I switch the car radio off and turn it again on, then the metadata for the current song is updated again.
Expected:
Metadata of the next track should be displayed.

Re: [REOPENED] MMA crashes played on bluetooth #13219
Hi Cyd,
Thanks for the update. To make sure I'm understanding correctly, are you saying that:
- pressing 'next' at step 1.5 does _not_ trigger the bug?
- the bug only occurs if MMA reconnects as described in steps 2/3/4?
Also, could you generate a debug log of this ?
Thanks.

I can't replicate it and yes debug log would be useful. Please note the track title of frozen track and title of expected track. Thanks
Edit by Rusty: Also what device and model of car are being used (that might help us replicate)?

Hi rusty and Martin,
I will retry these steps on another car radio just to be sure that this is not a problem of the car radio.
Regarding your questions:
- pressing 'next' at step 1.5 does _not_ trigger the bug?
After step 4 I can change the tracks as often as I like. It still displays the track information before I left the car.
- the bug only occurs if MMA reconnects as described in steps 2/3/4?
Yes. But to be sure I will retry and close MMA in step2.
I will send you a debug log, too.
From my point of view this is another issue like #13219. So you can close #13219.
Thanks, cyd

Re: Bluetooth Playback - metadata fails to update [#13327]
Hi Cyd,
Two other questions: what device/android version are you using? What car stereo are you connecting to?
Thanks.

Hi Rusty & Martin,
I just retested with version 600 and was not able to reproduce the issue.
You can close the ticket.
Thank you,
Cyd
