Different (random) playlist than viewed from UPnP [#10952]

Post by mcow »

This is reproducible:
Create a Smart Playlist that serves up ten random cuts. Share it via UPnP. Load the list in MMA, tap the first track. That track starts playing. But when you look at the Now Playing list, the track is last, with nine different random entries above it than were seen when viewing the list.
If you select all the tracks in browser and play, you get the list as seen.

Using MMW 1629, MMA 118, but I first noticed this a few builds ago.

I can reproduce it somewhat differently as for me it will be the first and last track: http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=10952

Did you actually create a playlist that generates random tracks? Because this bug is marked fixed for 142, and the symptom I report isn't fixed at all. Your comment in the bug "probably any list will do" is, I believe, unjustifiable unless you actually tested against a playlist that generates random entries.
