Impossible to select a play list for sync [#11073]

Post by Aralvor »

Hello,

Whenever I go to the sync settings to select the playlists I wanna sync from MMW to MMA then I cannot unselect or select anything.

The old playlists I synced before still work (as in are synced) but like I said I cannot unselect them.

I use both last versions

Any idea?

I'm talking about this screen :

Image doesn't exist. Note that you can select/deselect Playlists in MMW in the Device Profile as well.

Having a similar issue. As of a recent update, not exactly sure which one, I don't seem to be able to check or uncheck any boxes relating to file paths in MMA. So, when designating library folders or attempting to select which items are synced I am unable to change any options. It does look like the input is detected (the box flashes) but it doesn't toggle.

Other settings check boxes (volume leveling, etc) still work and I can still navigate up and down the file structure.

Samsung Galaxy S3 (SGH-I747M) running Android 4.1.2. Current Play Store build of MMA, MMW version 4.1.0.1651. Not sure if it'll help but sent in logs, ID: ONHJTREDFT.

I have no trouble selecting/deselecting Playlists in MMA to be synced (didn't test actual sync).

This is the oddest thing. I can personalize the front page, those checkboxes work just fine, just not select items to sync or change the library folder.

Have tried both reinstalling and clearing the cache followed by a reinstall. Have tried disabling superuser (should have mentioned I do have root, although still the stock ROM) without effect. Installing the current build of MMW (1656) on the off chance that helps.

OK, now this is just odd. Sometime between the last clear cache/data and reinstall of MMA and updating to MMW 1656, I seem to be able to select playlists again but with a catch. If I check something off then scroll down so it is no longer on the screen, when I scroll back up I can't uncheck the item. Going back up one level and coming back allows me to make changes again. Still unable to make any changes to MMA's library folders.

Same thing for me on the last update. I have MM on both my Galaxy S3 and Note 8. Both are having problems. I can't select or deselect a playlist.

So it's working for me actually, but you need to make sure to exactly tap on the little square area facing the playlist.

Taping the name of the playlist make it blink but it does not select or unselect it.

But i'm not sure, because it seems like when i had the bug, i tapped precisely on the square area and it didnt work. Anyway the bug is now gone and what i did since :
- reinstall last MMW version
- go to the options of the serveur and the options of the device and select the box "customize playlists" or something like this, on the screen where all the playlists are displayed

From my terminal point of view :
- the playlist sync selection and synchro seems to work fine. I "click " on the square ant the playlist or folder is selected. Easy, no ?
- my pb is when I try to select (or unselect) some local folders. When I touch she selection square, the line blink but nothing happens... :(

I have last beta version of both MMA and MMW. I reinstall MMA. Nothing changes.

This was fixed in build 164 ( http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=11073 ). Can you confirm that it works for you?

Hi,

I'am using build 1.0.4.0178 and it's still not possible to select any playlist from the sync location 'Auto-syn server' option... Same issue on both Sansung Note 1 and Note 8.

Issue foxed in build 104 sound to be a different one...
