Automatically start sync on open [#11996]

I'm looking to open sync directly, using nfc and tasker so when I get home mediamonkey opens on my phone and starts syncing automatically.

Is this possible? I can obviously get mediamonkey to open with nfc, but not sure if sync can start without having to click sync myself. There is a way to get touch input at certain coordinates but that requires root which I don't particularly want to do at the current time.

I was either thinking a script to run or a shortcut that just opens sync directly.
