[BUG] Incompatible Filetype Stops Playlist [#10826]

Post by PPlusa »

Just noticed this one today.
I apparently have a couple songs in an incompatible file type on my Nexus 4. One of them popped up in the middle of a large playlist (~1k songs), and stopped the music to display the incompatible type error message (this part is OK).
When I hit the "OK" button to acknowledge it, the app paused the playlist and backed out to my last viewed set of tracks in the library (not the playlist). It looks like just hitting the skip track and play buttons gets it going again without losing it's place, but from a UI standpoint it seems like the default action should be one of the following:
  • Stay on screen same, maybe add error icon over album art to indicate it's the track that failed
  • Back out to playlist
  • Skip to next track and continue playing
