[BUG] Tracklist not alphabetizing correctly [#12334]

Moved from my other post to focus just on this issue.

Second Issue: Tracks not getting correct listing number. I have just started playing a track by pressing tracks and then scrolling down the list. Current song started out as #4668 which I believe to be correct however as the app figures out how many songs there are (currently 8416) then the app drops the listing number and in this case dropped the song to 1119 / 8416 which I know is incorrect. Ok just finished scrolling through the playlist and it looks like it never sorted the tracks properly. There are 4 instances where it goes A-Z, Tracks 1-2000, 2001-4000, 4001-6000, 6001-8000, 8001-8416. So it appears to sort A-Z every 2000 songs instead of sorting the entire list A-Z.

2. Can you clarify this issue further? I'm a bit confused as to when the listing number changes. Also, please confirm whether the problem is in the Now Playing list or in the Playlist.

To clarify: from the main screen ALBUMS | PLAYLIST | VIDEO | etc. I select TRACKS. At this point all tracks appear in proper alphabetical order. I then select a track to play, right now I have selected Push It by Garbage. In NOW PLAYING the song starts playing and is listed as #4850 which is it's correct place in the tracklist. MMA in NOW PLAYING starts to compile the playlist (least that is what I think it's doing). So (in landscape view on my tablet) under the track rating I see 4850/2000... then 4850/4000... then 4850/6000... then 4850/8000... then 1162/8416 is where it stops. So now it has the correct total of songs but the track is now not in the correct spot. So now if I select what I am guessing is the playlist that was generated (SEARCH | PLAYLIST | SETTNGS) I get a Playlist with A-Z every 2000 songs instead of just A-Z. So best way to describe it is as if MMA is taking and sorting 2000 songs A-Z, then takes another 2000 songs and sorts them A-Z until it gets to the end of the songs on my tablet instead of just sorting all 8416 songs A-Z in one go.

btw, can you confirm that re the tracks that you're saying are sorted A-Z in sets of 2000 tracks, you're referring to the tracks that have been added to the NP list?

Will get back to you on this. To make sure that nothing else is causing the problem I have wiped the database and all music on my tablet. Currently resyncing my music back.

To answer your question in the mean time, yes that is exactly what I am saying. Does it every time. I only noticed it really because I've been using my tablet to weed through my music library going alphabetically. Before this all started I was in the 4000s and in P's which is what caught me when as the song I was currently at dropped from 4k something to 1k something I thought at first I had it on shuffle but it wasn't. Will update once this sync has finished and I test again.

EDIT: finally finished sync. Still acting the same. I took a bunch of screenshots to show exactly what I am doing which I will upload later today.
