Album play not working on UPnP [#12613]

My usage is mainly playing albums over UPnP. Currently MMW beta 4.1.6.1732 > MMA beta 1.1.0.0398

When I browse to an album's folder I used to be able to tap on the first track and it would play the rest of the folder without interruption. This worked perfect and gapless up to MMA beta 391. I made a previous bug report about gaps returning here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... 21&t=79145.

When MMA beta 395 was released containing the fix, the tracks on an album would not continue to the next track on the album. It would just stop. Even when the tracks do continue on there is the slightest hiccup between tracks. I have submitted bug reports for each release since then and am now also making a forum bug report for beta 398.

I would love to see a menu option or button to play an album as such. When I browse albums on UPnP, or if I have albums downloaded to my device I don't want to have to create playlists. I should be able to just "Play Album".

Also, if I have downloaded the album folder it plays just fine, it is just UPnP not working. But I don't want to download every time I want to listen to one of my 800+ albums.

Re. gapless, I'm not clear on whether you're saying the fix worked or not (for local tracks--obviously there's an issue with UPnP tracks). But please comment on the original thread.

Re. a shortened workflow to play albums, please elaborate on your comment at dtsig's thread (I'm not clear if you're saying that there's more that you'd like to see above and beyond what he already suggested).

Thank you for the prompt attention. The fix has solved the issue where the tracks just stop and do not continue on when playing over UPnP. However, there are now gaps between the tracks.

Reporting this in both threads as the issue seems to be a pingpong (gaps > fix > tracks stop > fix > gaps)
