Music counter resets to zero when phone locks [#12614]

With the last few beta versions of MMA (including 398), the current position within a track is sometimes lost when pausing for a more than a few seconds while playing a track. The problem happens more predictably if the phone screen has turned off while playing, I then push the power button, and pause the track from the lock screen. After a few seconds, the elapsed time changes to zero, and pressing play starts the track from the beginning.

It can also happen if I pause the music from the Now Playing screen and allow the screen to time out. When I turn it back on, and unlock the phone, the counter is reset to zero.

I have generated a debug log: TJU9A7YRUR (for the first case above).
