Re: After Update no Autoplay via Bluetooth
Please, let me know, whether issue still occurs when "Always respond to remote buttons" in Options is enabled.
Also please include android version of your device.
Thanks

Re: After Update no Autoplay via Bluetooth
Same, the buttons work fine, but MM doesn't auto-play when I connect via bluetooth. Android version 5.1.1bilbo_b wrote:If i enable "Always respond to remote buttons", the Buttons seems do work. But the Autoplay Feature doesn't.

Re: After Update no Autoplay via Bluetooth
I've tested on several bluetooth devices to several different handsets, and any devices that initiate BT Playback seem to trigger MMA playback. But playback doesn't initiate automatically on connect.
Can you confirm: when using e.g. Google Play music, does it automatically start playing? If not, I suspect that what you're asking for is a feature (that may have accidentally existed in 1.1.2) to be optionally configurable. e.g.
[x] auto start playback on headset/BT connection
Con you confirm?
Thanks.

Re: After Update no Autoplay via Bluetooth
In build 946, you can set 'Show MediaMonkey in notifications bar' to 'Always', and it will resolve this issue for many BT devices (since sometimes the problem is that MMA didn't respond to playback commands because it wasn't 'awake'.

That's the third response I've seen mentioning "946" but I've got "496" on my system.rusty wrote:In build 946, you can set 'Show MediaMonkey in notifications bar' to 'Always', and it will resolve this issue for many BT devices (since sometimes the problem is that MMA didn't respond to playback commands because it wasn't 'awake'.
Is this "In notifications bar // Always" setting something that appears only for post-Jellybean versions of Android? 'cuz I don't see it. But I haven't had problems with autoplay.
Re: After Update no Autoplay via Bluetooth
Hi mcow,
'Show in notifications bar' appears on JB devices as well: Options > General > Show in notifications bar.
and sorry about the confusion re. the build numbers--496 is what had been intended.

Well, so it is! I don't know how I missed that.
