More Playlist Trouble [#12919]

Post by PBRaymond »

Hello,

My standard Media Monkey app is version 1.1.3.0493 and my Media Monkey Pro app is version 1.1.0008

I'm running Android 4.4.2 on an Asus Memo Pad 8.

I haven't had any trouble with playlists getting deleted until I updated Media Monkey this morning. I did the update yesterday or the day before fine without any troubles. Today when I ran the update I was playing music off one of my recent playlists on MediaMonkey, and it shut down when it updated.

Then I reopened the program once it was done updating and went to my playlists and everything was there, but then after a few seconds my two most recent playlists were automatically deleted.

I don't have any kind of auto sync set up.

Since one of the lists was still on my now playing list I decided to go through and re-add it to a new list, but somehow my entire library got added to the playlist after I added a song or two from my now playing list.

Then I deleted that list and started over and the same thing happened. After I added a couple songs from my now playing list, my entire library from my Android device was in the playlist.

Hi PBraymond,

Can you generate a debug log immediately after you see a playlist 'automatically delete' , and let us know exactly what playlist MMA deleted?

You can generate the log via Options > About MediaMonkey > Send debug log, and share the log ID in this thread.

Thanks!

Alright, sure thing!

The log ID is CRUMSUVVOD

I haven't experienced the auto-deleted playlists since the first time it happened, but the two playlists that were deleted were Closing October and Alt Closing October

Also,

I just made a new playlist called Alt New Closing, and after I was done I noticed the same thing happened, almost 3000 extra songs from my library had been added by mistake.

I just sent another debug log made immediately after I saw the playlist had the same problem. It's number is 3MLE6Z9O0W
