App not bringing up lyrics and song ratings.

I've reported this issue before and never received a satisfactory fix to the problem without deleting and resyncing all of my music.

Every time the app updates on my phone i lose lyrics, ratings, and on a few occasions, the album artwork. I don't know if having the music files on the SD card is the problem, but none of the other music apps I've had on my phone, including the standard music player for the Galaxy S6 have had this issue. I've tried a couple of things to get it to bring up the information again, but nothing has worked, including uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

I have not synced it since the app was updated. It's usually a big issue to sync as i have so many files.

Please help. If i can't get this fixed, I'll stop using the app and find something else. It's very annoying because I've spent a lot of time managing the music files I have to look a certain way and want it to look that way on the app I'm using.

Hi,
New MMA Beta should be released last night. Can you please before you update. follow these steps and it will show us why you loose library:
1. Open MMA and check if ratings are there (rate few tracks if needed)
2. Use MENU -> ABOUT to send us debug log (write down ID so taht you can post it here)
3. Update MMA
4. Open MMA and check if ratings are there
5. Use MENU -> ABOUT to send us debug log (write down ID so taht you can post it here)

Write both IDs here so that we can check what happened on update.

Unfortunately I do not see any issue in your logs. The tracks contains ratings in both cases. I do not see any lost rating in second log.

Could you please specify one track that has lost it's rating?

This issue looks like all tracks are removed from DB (for some reason) and rescanned from Android -> Android doesn't support rating, lyrics -> so they are lost... But I do not see any prove of this in your log. Did you really check the ratings correctly as Peke described, i.e. in step 1 - the ratings were there correctly, in step 4 - the ratings were gone?

I could specify every track is missing the ratings and lyrics. I don't think that the ratings and lyrics are missing from the track, just missing from the display, because if I use a different app to play my music the lyrics show up. The ratings don't show up, but not all of the players have ratings. I've scrolled though the MM app and I don't have any ratings showing. I've been playing music for 5 days and none of the tracks are showing the ratings or lyrics that i've played. From the time I first posted the other day to sending the logs to today, I haven't had lyrics and ratings. Step 1 to Step 4 they were not there. This began after the last time I updated the app. I don't know what you mean by rescanned from android, but i've had the lyrics and the ratings in the past. I just have had to delete and resync all the tracks.
