Media Monkey for Android
Under Genres, the tracks option brings up all music on device rather than music of selected Genre.
Artists and Albums options work as expected.
Same issue on Sony Z5 Compact E5824, Android 6.0.1, mm 1.2.0.0618 and Samsung Note 8.4 Sm-t700, Android 5.0.2, same version of Media Monkey.
Thanks
Andy

[BUG] Track list for a genere displays the entire library
Hello,
I really have no clue what is causing this and while I suspect it may be a database issue, it more so seems that its just a flat out bug with MMA.
I technically am having two problems because when I finally got around to thinking about reporting the first one I discovered that the bug had been covered up by a new one. I will mention them both in case they are related.
The first bug I had was that when I would go to a genre on MMA both the artist and album views would display properly, but the track list option for that genre would be broken in the sense that it would be cut off short. I could start scrolling down normally but after getting to a certain point the scroll-bar on the right would suddenly skip to the bottom of the screen as if I had scrolled all the way down but I would still be at about G or H in the track list despite having tracks going all the way down to Z. I could even see part of the next track under the last one in the list the program just wouldn't let me scroll any further down. Genres for which I only have a few songs seemed to be unaffiliated by this, only seeming to come in for genres with 30ish plus songs or something like that I'm not sure. Unfortunately the next bug I am going to mention completely covered up that one so I cannot take a picture of it to show you.
The current bug that I have (the one that the title is referencing) now is that again, the artist and album view under any genre show the correct artists and albums and work properly, but now when I select the track view under a genre it just lists every track from my entire library (i.e. all genres instead of just Rock, or Metal). This happens for every genre. What is interesting is that if I chose shuffle on the genre it will correctly play only songs from that genre, and not just shuffle my whole library like the view would suggest it would.
Bellow is a screenshot of the view I am talking about if this helps:

I am syncing my library from MediaMonkey on PC.
Environment:
MMA Version - 1.2.0.0618
MediaMonkey PC Version - 4.1.4.1709
PC OS - Windows 10
Phone - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge
Android Version - 6.0.1
EDIT:
Thanks for the move, didn't know this thread existed, glad I am not the only one having the problem.

Re: Genre Track view error
I don't think the random scrolling thing is a bug, even though it has caught me out a few times.
I think that the right hand side of your screen is for, if you like fast or direct scrolling to a certain letter, if you imagine the alphabet is shown down the right hand side, and touch where g is, for instance, it will take you to g.
Using the left or centre of the screen, you won't have this issue, more of a problem if you use your right hand like me.
Maybe a future enhancement could be to select which side of the screen does "fast/direct scrolling."
Anyway, glad that the Genres issue is being looked at, I use this feature more than any other.
Thanks
Andy
