Save error logs (after importing)

Post by aryxus »

When adding/rescanning a large number of music files, MM displays a list of any errors that occurred, which is great. However, it's really difficult to troubleshoot those errors when you can't reference them. The first thing I want to do after getting such a message is search MM for any conflicting files, but to do so I have to close the error window, and thus have no way to reference the errors. Sometimes I get a few dozen errors, so it's not like transcribing them is exactly efficient.

I'm not even able to copy the errors into a separate text file.

So I'd like to request either:
a) create an error log automatically (which could be used for all types of errors), or
b) include a 'save error log' button, or
c) at least let us copy and paste from the errors list box.

Thanks!

I really like this. Since MM keeps a count of files not imported and a list of those too small ... why not just fleshout the list and save if off. Would be nice for those big scans
