[Feature Request] Video deinterlacing and scaling

Post by sesam »

MediaMonkey is missing two features I think are essential for video playback, deinterlace and scaling.

Scaling/interpolation: Low resolution videos on high resolution monitors look really pixelated otherwise.
Deinterlace: Original DVD's and separated/cut music video VOB's are interlaced.

I have worked around the lack of these features by adjusting FDDShow settings, the problem doing that however is that it affects (and messes up) for other applications. And it's not really that user friendly either, so it would be better if this could be enabled through MediaMonkey.

(I hope this is the right place to post this)

Agreed sesam - I was wondering about how the video image could be improved on my new hi-res monitor.
I hope MM will add this feature on the next release. Thx
