Remove Search Results Node [#6585]

Post by Armando Penblade »

I noticed that the search results node isn't in the list of nodes that I can remove. Is there a Media Monkey file I can modify, either in the skins or program files, that will permanently remove this node? It appears (from my forum searches) that this used to be possible via the Options menu but that the feature was removed for reasons I cannot fathom. Surely its appearance is no more or less important than any other node.

It wouldn't be an issue if it didn't auto-expand after every search. . . and require manually removing each old search result one by one. . .

No, it can't be hidden and never could be. Hopefully in the future...

Sorry to revive this thread but I feel the same as the OP. The results start getting in the way after a while, perhaps we can have a "collapse results" option. Thanks for the great software by the way.

You can already collapse the Search Results node, as well as remove search entries by right clicking and selecting Remove (or just hitting "Del" on them).
