Show latest shown art again functionality [#7617]

Post by buskbolurven »

This is maybe a alpha-question more than a beta, but I post anyway since MM4 hopefully is not locked completely:

It would be convenient if the program could remember which art to be shown when a song contains several images.

As it works today, if there are new art I want to show at the same time as I want to keep some old images, I have to go to the Artwork tag in the file properties (or using the edit artwork in Art and details, paste and rearrange the new art to the top of the list. This takes a lot of mouse clicks and gets fatiguing for the user in the long run.

Therefore, my suggestion is that the last shown picture on each song is saved and shown next time the song is either selected or in the actual play list.

The implementation of these functionality wold make it much easier using MM - just add the image by paste it in art & details and voilá! you are finished.

Edit Art of those tracks and move one you desire to be shown by default first in list.

I'm not sure what the big different between making the art you want to shown first or remembering it somehow is. I think what would be nice is drag & drop resorting in the Album Art tab.
