If you click the Media Tree to change to another folder the Main List loses focus.
You can still use Alt+A to Select All but you cannot use Shift+Enter to open Properties.

Re: Edit Properties from Media Tree focus
That seems logical as you can use the arrow keys for navigation in the Media Tree and without focus this wouldn't be possible.

Re: Edit Properties from Media Tree focus
I take it you mean the current way, in which the Tree takes the focus, is logical.Lowlander wrote:That seems logical
It is, I think.
But, even if the Tree has focus Alt+A still selects tracks in the Main List because why would you press that if not to select tracks even if the Tree has the focus.
But then, if you press Shift+Enter it does not open Properties of the selected tracks.
It should know too that you mean to reference the tracks even if the Tree has the focus.

Re: Edit Properties from Media Tree focus
I guess as no click has happened in the file listings the Media Tree is still active. Shift+Enter has a function in the Media Tree and thus it still works on the Media Tree. However Ctrl+A serves no purpose in the Media Tree and thus is applied on the File Listing, but without shifting focus to it.
