I use MediaMonkey for downloading and playing video podcasts on my HTPC. A version or so ago, MM has begun to pop up error messages on the screen when it can't find a podcast to download, etc. It is really annoying because it pops up the window over videos that I'm watching and I have to click on the OK button to make it go away.
I don't mind MM letting me know there is a problem with podcasts, but I wish there was a way that it could alert me in a much less intrusive way. Perhaps, a little red icon on the status bar? Then I could click the icon and see all the error messages logged there.
