Monitor after delay [#12068]

I use the function: file monitor at start up. I would like it to start monitoring after a certain delay, preferable of course with a value that I could set myself.

Why? When I start MM, there is a lot to do: read the library, open playlist (to be generated), start playing something. And monitor the music files. This makes the start up slow.
A delay for the monitoring would improve this.

I agree, especially that from time to time speed and responsiveness should be re-valuated.
