Supported iOS7 devices
Hi all, we are trying to get list of tested/supported iOS7 devices.
We personally tested iTouch 5, iPhone 4, iPhone 5 and some others, but haven't tested iPad Air and iPad Mini.
Can anyone here confirm that sync works fine with those devices?

Re: Supported iOS7 devices
Hey ...
i tested IpadAir iOS 7.0.3 and it works like the other devices.
But i have a problem with duplicate songs in different Playlists. In the past it doesn´t matter if duplicate song are in different playlists. Now they are missing. Is this a bug or a feature? If it is a feature i don´t like it!!

Nevertheless I cannot replicate what you are reporting or I am misunderstanding something, I tested this way:
1) Created playlistA including tracks A,B,C
2) Create playlistB including tracks B,C
3) Added playlistA and playlistB to Auto-sync list and clicked [Auto-Sync]
=> both playlists synced as expected including all the tracks, so I don't see a problem here or I am doing something different way?
Tested: MMW 1669, iPod Touch 5, iOS 7.0.3

I have already replied it here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... 41#p377210Heiquito wrote:Hey ...

The original issue related to this topic was http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=11378 and was fixed in 1665.
Re: Supported iOS7 devices
You´re right. Thats the way i did it.
I tested something else:
- Removed all songs
- Sync Playlist B
result: all Songs of Playlist A are on the device
Next Try:
- Removed all songs
- Sync Playlist A+B (in Playlist A there a lot of songs of Playlist B)
result: all songs in Playlist A are on the device and only the songs not included in Playlist A of Playlist B are on the device
Hope you understand what i mean.

Re: Supported iOS7 devices
I think understand, but I cannot replicate the issue.
Could you generate debug log (item 4b): http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... ?f=6&t=341 ?

Re: Supported iOS7 devices
Of course. I will spent the next hour to do this. Are you available in this time?
Re: Supported iOS7 devices
As clarified over PMs, the important info is that the playlists contain duplicate filenames (files are duplicities), then it is consequence of the change made in http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=11321 (and is also related to http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=11378 )
i.e. the duplicate files are silently skipped during sync (it always been the case with previous version too), but in addition now (due to change in issue #11321) they are also removed from the playlists. I believe it is more consistent.
Is there any reason why you want to have duplicates in your library?

Re: Supported iOS7 devices
Nevertheless I re-opened the issue http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=11321 and changed to the old behaviour for Apple devices.
So it will be fixed in 1670, thank you for claryfing.

Re: Supported iOS7 devices
Thx.
I use AutoPlaylists by path and inside the path there are songs i use for teaching fitness classes. The different paths are sorted by date and some songs are inside several paths.

Re: Supported iOS7 devices
Hey ...
i don´t know if it´s possible ... maybe there is a possibility that the duplicate songs are in the playlists, but not twice synchronized?
That would be optimal.
Mmmh ... i read your answer again and i think this was the previous way, wasn´t it?

Re: Supported iOS7 devices
Yes, duplicate songs are in the playlists, but not twice synchronized. That is the way how it worked in 4.0 and will work in 4.1.0.1670+ (the build will be most probably posted tommorow).
