1162 ZEN tracks fail to show Album Artist [6924]

Just in case the cause is MM rather than WMDM or ZEN, in the My Zen node here, all tracks (WMA and MP3) show Album Artist as blank instead of the value seen in the pre-transfer files.

Track, Title, Artist, Album, Genre and Date look fine.

If anyone else sees Album Artist on a WMDM device, I'd be interested to hear. Thanks.

I installed MM from the current version back to 3.0.0.1105 and the Album Artist did not show in any of them when in the My Zen node. Where did you see this and more importantly, why do you need to? The Zen does not show album artist in any of its details either. AFAIK the Zen is driven by the Artist.

The failure? In the My Zen node. The missing data? In the Library node.

It helps identify albums. Esp. those with identical titles.

I think in future I'll put the Album Artist in the ZEN filepath.

I think you misunderstood my question, I am curious to know in what version of MM3 was the album artist info visible in the My Zen node? My MM3 has only ever showed the fields which are supported and viewable on the Zen when you select the "View Details" of the track.

I didn't say there was such a version. I don't know if there was such a version.

Ok, then I definately misunderstood your original post. Just as a followup I browsed my Zen through the Creative Media Explorer and Windows Explorer and neither of them has the Album Artist as a viewable option.
