1198: Update All Podcasts doesn't BUG#5008 [Fixed 1202]

I subscribe to several daily news podcasts. I usually listen to them first thing in the morning. Realized this AM that the daily casts were not available.
e.g. NPR World Story Of the Day

Ran Update All Podcasts. Nada.
Ran Update Podcast on just that podcast. Bingo. Downloaded new episode.

Checked on some other daily podcasts. Same result. Might be a side-effect of removed episodes in feed.

Yeah. I am reviewing my database (Podcasts, PodcastEpidosodes) via SQL Viewer. Nothing obvious yet.

I'm having the problem in 1201 also. It seems that "Update all podcasts" may be checking the feeds too quickly and skipping over new episodes. Is there a way to change the timeout?

Looks like we need 1202. When can we get it? It's a real pain to have to check each podcast feed 1 by 1.

Depends. Rusty has to make a call based on other "fixes" in the build.

Very quick test in 1202. Lots of backed up episodes downloading.
Need to do some more tests before I can verify the fix.
