I get this every time I try to select a second item in a field from the drop down menu (build 1201):

NH:

How do you get the dropdown to popup when selecting the second item? I only get the dropdown for the first item.

It pops up after I begin typing after the semi-colon. Of course it will only pop up if the value is already in the database (and in that field).

What steps did you take because I can select the first and second dropdown?

1. Open any list of tracks
2. Choose any track from that list
3. Right click -> Properties
4. Try to add a second value to any field by clicking in field, typing ";" (without quotes), then first letter of next value. Click on a value that pops up.
5. See exception. I can reproduce in Artist, Album, Genre, Occasion fields (others not tested, but I suspect they'd give me the error too).

Happened to me today editing 2nd genre from track list, but, that is only one out of many such edits without the exception.
Exception log sent.

Ok:

I was not doing my test correctly, I was using a ';' in my test when I had changed my separator to '/'. Now that I have corrected that error I can confirm that I am receiving the same error when selecting the second value.

Yes, I get the error too when I do exactly as described above [Try to add a second value to any field by clicking in field, type in your 'multi-attribute field splitter' (";" or "|" or " | " without quotes), then the first letter of the new value. Click on a value that pops up.]

I'd been using and adding multiple artists without a problem but I guess I wasn't doing exactly what you described.

You know I'm sure that you can use the down arrow to highlight your choice and then click on the drop-down arrow to select it. It's only a workaround, I know.

Editing from track list instead of Properties works most of the time.

Just got this again while adding 2nd composer from track list and absent mindlessly clicking on the drop down.

It did bring up a related issue.
Pressing Enter key on mult-value edits can cause the entire string to be lost. Pressing Escape resumes old value. Clicking any place in the main pane away from the tag being edited will commit the change.

Avoiding the dropdown in Properties and just typing the full string followed by clicking OK is also a temporary workaround.

This function will need some heavy testing when the next build is available.

No, the last comment was from 1201. Have not tested it yet for 1202. Been too busy cleaning up my Podcast mess.
