Ok:
While going through my tests for 3.1 I noticed some problems when having both 3.0 and 3.1 open at the same time. Now I know this is technically not "beta testing" but I thought I would bring it up in case there is a way to fix it or to let the scripters of the affected script to offer a solution to the problem:
1. The Title and Artist columns in the Now Playing list of both 3.0 and 3.1 keep losing it's position when reopening MM. I have them both setup to be the first columns but the TItle column keeps moving to the end when I reopen MM. I assume this is because of the addition of the # column. Now this is not a deal breaker but it is VERY annoying.
2. Trixmoto's Backup script: Now although I have both 3.0 and 3.1 setup to backup to separate locations, everytime I open 3.1 I get the message the backup is cancelled because it already exists, even though there has been no backup for 3.1 during the affected time period.
3. Bex's Add/Remove Playstat script: I keep getting an error pointing to line 590 but when you look at the error message it is pointing to the Add/Rem script in the 3.0 directory. Of course, I cannot proceed as long as both MM's are open. Which of course should not be happening since they are both operating off of different databases. I thought this might be due to the fact I was using tracks from the now playing window as test subjects, these tracks were playing in 3.0 at the time, but I tried on different tracks and I received the same error.
4. Although this is not a problem, it would be nice if each instance of MM was able to use it's own mediamonkey.m3u playlist when closing, this is causing havoc on my system due to one or the other closing and saving the file and then causing an access violation in the other... But to try to avoid these I will switch to playing from my player while both are open.
Now I know you are thinking why have them both open at the same time, but while testing I need to verify results of tests in 3.1 with my 3.0 db so I need to have them both open, also I am playing my tracks in 3.0 to make my testing environment more enjoyable.
