I configured the quick search to search the filtered library always except for radio and portable deviced. I'm on the current playlist or the library node and the quick search shows "filtered library". Now I select "radio" node in the tree. Correctly, quick search info changes to whole library. Now I return to current playlist node - but whole library search mode info is still written in the quick search form. Now selecting library node, the text changes (correctly) to filtered library; when I then select current playlist node again, it stays this way (i.e. also correctly).
Not sure if this is only a info text update event bug or if the search mode really gets stuck.

Re: 1204 - (quick) search / search environment bug
This problem still persists (running German version). When I startup MM, the quick search text always says "current selection" although I preset library (filtered). I down't know if this is translation related or functional.

I do have the same problem again although it should be fixed by now according to mantis. After reading the notes in mantis, it seems that I am talking about problem type "C" here: after selecting a different node in the tree with a different search preset and then changing back to the now playing playlist, the previous preset stays active.

Claude,
Thanks for the report. Your last comment is actually a bit different since the Now Playing node doesn't actually have a search mode configuration.
I think that for the long term, it should. Tracking this at:

Re: 1204 - (quick) search / search environment bug BUG#5323
Ok, thanks. I thought it had the same configuration as "regular playlists".
The Now Playing node is the view I use most often, so I like to use it as a starting point for all my archive searches.

fyi, it'll be fixed in the next build simply by persisting whatever mode was last used in Now Playing.
