Build 1207 - New Configure toolbar feature-BUG5121
This feature is great, however, the configuration does not "stick". The changes are lost when you restart MM.

Re: Build 1207 - New Configure toolbar feature
Do a search on the board, there are some scripts which cause the configuration not to save, it will be fixed in 1208. But in the meantime you can either close MM, remove the scripts and make the changes, then close MM and put them back. Make the changes, then with MM open open the mediamonkey.ini file and copy the [toolbars] section. Close MM, open the mediamonkey.ini file and paste the info you just copied.

This is fixed for me in 1208, can you check to see if your changes are now being saved?

Re: Build 1207 - New Configure toolbar feature
I just tried both deleting and adding icons to the Standard toolbar and it works for me. I am using the ADFF and Clear NP scripts and they haven't given me any problems. Can you try removing the Lyrics script and re-try it to see if that is causing the problem?

Re: Build 1207 - New Configure toolbar feature
I tested with and without all combinations of the 3 scripts.
Conclusion: The presence of "AdvancedDuplicateFindFixMM3" causes the problem.
Maybe I am using a different version than you. My "AdvancedDuplicateFindFixMM3.vbs" date stamp: 10/9/2008 10:25:42
If you wish, please let me know how to send you my a copy.

Re: Build 1207 - New Configure toolbar feature
I tried with the 3.2.3 version of ADFF and I still am not having any trouble. I am not sure what could be causing your problems. Are you sure they are the only scripts you have installed?

Re: Build 1207 - New Configure toolbar feature
Yes. I am sure. I am only running the above auto scripts. Of course I have a few scripts in the scripts folder. These, I assume are part of basic MM: AutoIncTrackN.vbs, ExportM3Us.vbs, ExportOPML.vbs, MediaMonkey init.vbs, SwapArtistTitle.vbs.
Will a debug log help? I created a couple of log files: 1) After starting MM I added the Podcasts button to the standard toolbar and closed MM; 2) I restarted MM (the button is not there).
If these logs can be helpful, let know how I can send them to you.

Re: Build 1207 - New Configure toolbar feature
Here is some information that may help narrow down the time as to when the "configure" actions get reversed.
I tested the following scenario and observed the MediaMonkey.ini file.
1. I started MM and, using configure, I removed the Visualization button from the standard toolbar.
- the button was removed
2. I closed MM.
3. I opened MM.
- the button re-appeared
Here are my ini file ovservations:

I have reopened ticket 5121 in order for the devs to review to determine if they can resolve the issues.

Re: Build 1207 - New Configure toolbar feature-BUG5121
Just to let you know, I've got loads of scripts installed (see sig) and the toolbar settings seem to work fine for me too in 1208 (I didn't test it in 1207 or before). Sorry SlowFox!

I just installed and tested with Build 1208.
It works great. This is no longer an issue.
