1209 Quick Search for D:\ fails to find Path [#5639]
My library has tracks the path of which include D:\, and my search options include Path. When in quick search I enter D:\, the results include some but not all of the tracks which have D:\ in Path.

Thanks. That Mantis entry says:
> If the user searches for C: or D: etc. MM returns tracks that contain C or D rather than what the user intended.
Not reproduced here. e.g. D: returns much fewer tracks than D. I cannot spot which field is being matched.

That accords with documentation:
Independently of this issue, I suggest the docs need a complete spec. of special char behaviour.
That accords with documentation:
The OP behaviour does not... if we assume the docs mean ignoring of special characters on >1-char string occurs at /all/ positions.Searches for special characters: returns Tracks with the special character. Search for Help! : Ignores the special character, and returns Tracks containing 'Help'.. Search for "Help!" : Finds an exact match (doesn't ignore the special character).
Independently of this issue, I suggest the docs need a complete spec. of special char behaviour.
