1223, Options>Search: SearchMode: Selection fails BUG#5323

The selected option takes only effect when one search has been made (with the previous selection).
1. Switch the SearchMode for the entire Library to "Google"
2. Search for a term
--> The search is made in the Library
3. Select the Library Node
--> The selection is set to Google.

4. Switch the search SearchMode for the entire Library to "Library (filtered)"
5. Restart MM
6. Search for a term
--> No search is made at all (white pane)

I tried this but I can't even replicate 1 & 2. The initial search is made in Google, not in the library.

I tried the rest of the steps anyway and everything worked as expected.

Maybe you temporarily switched the search option using the icon in the search toolbar and not the permanent preset in Options>Search?

I can confirm that the change of search location in the options doesn't take affect until you switch nodes in the Explorer Tree.
