1224 Throwing multiple errors on start-up [NOTREP]

1224 has been running fine (some odd crashes but nothing I can put my finger on) until this morning. Ran 1224 and got multiple crashes on load but couldn't submit them and in the end had to terminate the process in task manager. I notice there's a new build so I'll try that.

I've run into them occasionally on my work computer which is running XP. The message says MM is frozen. I could never figure out what was causing them, I figured it had to be a script since I do not run into the errors on my two Vista machines. This usually happens when other programs are running, so I figured I was trying to do to much at once. The best way I found to get rid of the errors were to empty the mediamonkey.m3u with notepad. This usually fixes it for me. I haven't noticed if the errors went away with 1225 yet but I will keep my eye out. For me these errors haven't been consistent enough to report since I can't figure out what is causing them.

I stand corrected, it does happen in 1225, here is the error. I cannot send in an error report because the send boxes are greyed out, I usually get 5 of the same boxes:

Thinking back it always seems to happen after rebooting my machine and starting MM for the first time. Clearing all the error boxes and closing MM and re starting it seems to clear the problem. Could it be other processes still running. I have never tried clearing the m3u file - I never knew it existed - what is it - the now playing list?

Yes it is the now playing list. I have tried uninstalling scripts but since I tried it on a test installation that had no scripts installed and the error still occurs, I did not think it was script related. It usually happens to me on first startup of the day as well, because of this I try to avoid shutting down MM as much as possible. At first I thought it was because there were too many processes happening since I usually open 5 or 6 programs at a time. But this happens to me even when it is only MM that is running any processes. It rarely happens on my home desktop and laptop, but they have better hardware than here at work and they are on Vista. I do not know what the factors are that are causing this, but clearing the m3u usually works. Some days it takes three or four times before MM will open successfully. Also, my work pc does not have as many scripts installed as I have on my home desktop. Here's another idea which just occurred to me, on my work pc I have not installed all the betas in the order that they were released. In other words, I have skipped a few here and there, could this be a factor? But as I stated since I cannot narrow down what is causing it, I did not report it.

I can't reproduce this issue. Is this still reproducible in 1228 (without any scripts)? Can anyone generate a debug log using dbgview ?

I haven't been seeing it with 1228 as I was with prior beta versions. In fact I think I only received it once since upgrading but that was related to something else. If no one else is having a problem, I would mark this one as resolved because prior to 1228 I recieved it everytime I opened MM on my work computer.
