Tried to post this bug to support@mediamonkey.com from my account at gmail.com, but with no luck (delivery failed).
I think i found serious bug in MediaMonkey 3.1.0.1227 and the same bug was in 3.1.0.1225. It's hard to me to figure out what exactly causes the problem, but i'll try to explain.
Below are detailed steps leading to strange results. Also i made several screenshots for better evidence.
1. I select the album from the Library (Music Explorer Tree), let's say Selected Ambient Works Vol. II CD 1 by Aphex Twin (can be any other) and double-click to start playing a track from that album
2. Then from *Now playing* panel i choose *Find More from Same->Playlist->Electronic-Ambient* (imported playlist)
3. Now, for example i want to open Kid A album of Radiohead from this playlist
And BINGO! Instead of expected Kid A it showing Selected Ambient Works Vol. II CD 1 by Aphex Twin!
This error doesn't happen when i choose *Find More from Same->Playlist->Some Playlist* from album view (central panel).
Of course i could use *Track Browser* above to select desired album (this way everything works fine) but it's a no go when something doesn't work when it should.
And one more bug which, i guess, is related to previous.
First 2 steps are indentical to described above. I can even select another album or artist from the *Music Explorer Tree* on left, but problem persist anyway ((
3. I perform a Search for anything, in this example i searched for oasis and got a list of found items
4. Then click, say The Masteplan to open it
But instead of The Mastetrplan album i get Selected Ambient Works Vol. II CD 1 by Aphex Twin!! If i perform another search those fields become unclickable at all!
Did anybody encounter this bug?
