1 In a WMA track Date field, enter 1925-11-30
2 Examine in hex editor
Expected: date stored in Year (actually WM/Year) and ReleaseDate, as per Help.
Observed: date stored in Year (actually WM/Year) and OriginalReleaseTime
Note: There is no such standard tag as OriginalReleaseTime - see EDIT: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library ... S.85).aspx
It would be helpful to hear from the Devs confirmation that this bug is considered to be one of behaviour rather than of documentation. Thanks.

I see the documentation has been adjusted to match current behaviour: http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view. ... 564#c17677 .
I think this leaves outstanding the bug described by this slight adjustment to the report:
1 In a WMA track Date field, enter 1925-11-30
2 Examine in hex editor
Expected: date stored in Year (actually WM/Year) and ReleaseDate.
Observed: date stored in Year (actually WM/Year) and OriginalReleaseTime
Note: There is no such standard tag as OriginalReleaseTime - see EDIT: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library ... S.85).aspx
EDIT: Covered at http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... =7&t=42797

chrisjj, please don't edit others posts to reply, it makes for too much confusion.rusty wrote:> The link that you provided doesn't resolve,
Failure of this forum's auto-urlling now workedaround - thanks.

Fair enough.

My profuse apologies to Rusty and all!! I clearly hit Edit instead of Quote.

Not to mention misrepresentation!
For the record I have moved my text out to a separate message but sadly have no way to restore Rusty's.
